1. Who we are
Bostock Capitals (referred to here as "we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at ir@bostockcapitals.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect information in three contexts:
- When you contact us. Name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and the details you choose to share in your message or call.
- When you become a client. Identification documents, proof of address, source-of-wealth declarations, broker account references, and any other information required to meet our regulatory and counter-money-laundering obligations.
- When you use this website. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
3. Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, deliver our investment-management services, comply with applicable laws (including anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing rules), maintain our records, improve this website, and communicate with you about your account.
4. Our legal basis
We rely on the following legal bases depending on the activity: (a) your consent, where you have given it; (b) the performance of a contract with you; (c) compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation; and (d) our legitimate interests in running the firm soundly, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary: with your selected broker (so we can execute trades on your behalf), with our auditors and legal advisers, with regulators or law-enforcement bodies where we are legally required to do so, and with our IT, hosting, and email-service providers under written agreements that bind them to confidentiality.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are a client, and for a further period after our relationship ends to satisfy our legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations (typically seven years from the end of the relationship).
7. How we keep it secure
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted storage, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for staff, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities promptly in the event of a material data breach affecting your information.
8. Your rights
Subject to the law of your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct it if it is wrong; ask us to delete it (subject to our regulatory obligations); restrict or object to certain processing; receive a portable copy; and withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, please contact ir@bostockcapitals.com. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.
9. Cookies
This site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to enable basic functionality and to remember your preferences (for example, whether you have dismissed a notification). We do not use advertising cookies. We use a single privacy-respecting analytics cookie to count anonymous page views so we can understand which parts of the site are most useful. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features of the site may not work as expected if you do so.
10. Contacting us
For any privacy-related question or request, please email ir@bostockcapitals.com. We will respond within thirty days, and usually sooner.
